18th Century Ring – Card Design

Ring Card Design circa the 18th Century.
GOLD RING, WITH HEAD IN FORM OF A ROSE KNOT
The setting consists of a diamond in a silver bezel, and three rubies in gold bezels; between the
rubies are three enameled playing cards. The hoop is of openwork interspersed with two placing
cards and two ovals in enamel; a section of reddish gold indicates an enlargement of this ring.
