In this course, we have three objectives.

*Present tools and work with them so that we can maintain high levels of esteem after the course

Lesson 1 – Commitment In this first lesson, you will get some general information about self-worth, and some of the general tools which will be used for the entire course. You will also learn the importance of commitment to yourself.
Lesson 2 – The Body Studies done with women students show clearly that negative body image starts in junior high school and is an important reason why women have low self esteem. We judge our bodies unecessarily harshly. We will then look at ways to make friends of our bodies and use the information they give us.
Lesson 3 – The Emotions Women often feel that we are too emotional, or are told we are. In this lesson, we will look at our emotions and how we can use them in a positive way to give us information about how we are reacting. We will learn to take charge of our emotions and use them to our advantage.
Lesson 4 – The Mind Women have often been told that they are not smart. Often, this is supported by the fact that women do not excel at math and science. This is another reason why women’s self-worth slips in junior high school. In this lesson, we will learn about the value of the right brain and how to use both parts of our brain more effectively.
Lesson 5 – The Imagination Women are often told that they are day dreamers and should be more business-like. In this lesson we learn the power of the imagination, how to stop using it to harm ourselves and how to use it to get what we want.
Lesson 6 – Celebration In this lesson, we will learn how to put all of our worthy parts together to come up with a new image of ourselves as women of worth. We will celebrate that new image.
