► André Édouard Marty (1882 – 1974)
According to Les Arts Décoratifs, Marty was an illustrator who was educated at l’École des beaux-arts, a student of Cormon. He formed friendships with Lepape, Martin and Brissaud. He provided illustrations for Fémina, Comoedia illustré, la Gazette du bon ton, le Sourire, Vogue, l’illustration des modes, Harper’s Bazaar and for works by Shakespeare, La Fontaine, Musset, Daudet, P. Louÿs, and Maeterlinck.
