Walnut Production

According to the USDA, for 2013, it is estimated that the California English walnut industry will produce 495,000 tons of walnuts with 69.2 trees per acre. This California industry is estimated to be over $1.3 billion. Although other states grow walnuts, California is the main commercial producer of walnuts in the United States as seen in the map below.
