Harney and Sons Paris Black Tea and Fruit Blend
To start, this is one of the company's most popular teas. It gets excellent reviews and it smells lovely. The company describes the aroma as similar to Earl Grey tea. I can agree but also have to add that it is much milder. Myself, as someone who likes Earl Grey tea, would not choose this as a substitute.
When prepared, the taste is mainly of the black tea itself. The bergamot and other aromas that were present before the preparation seem lost.
The tea itself is advertised as a blend that is lower in briskness and body. This was the case.
To make this tea a bit more robust for my morning cup, I add just a bit of the East Frisian tea blend which registers high for briskness and body.
