This edition of delsc focuses on Mary E. Eaton who also signed her work as M.E. Eaton.
The artist produced hundreds of illustrations and a selection of her iris images from several issues of Addisonia were assembled for this edition of delsc. Addisonia was published by the New York Botanical Garden and the prints were produced prior to 1932. A current map of the New York Botanical Garden has been included in this issue to show the magnitude of the property and gardens. The New York Botanical Garden is a National Historic Landmark that includes the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory as well as 250-acres of gardens, pathways, waterfalls, ponds, the Bronx River, and 50-acres of trees from the same forest that once covered New York City.
