“The annexed engraving exhibits a view of the Egyptian building lately erected in Piccadilly, by Mr. Bullock, for the purpose of containing his valuable Museum of Natural History, of which we gave an account in a former volume; which, in point of the number, beauty, and variety of the specimens, and the exquisite manner in which they are preserved and arranged, surpassed every collection that has existed, or is known at present. […] The collection contains upwards of 25,000 quadrupeds, birds, fishes, reptiles, insects, shells, corals, &c.” The Repository of arts, literature, commerce, manufactures, fashions and politics, 1815.
